The
Pastoral Council is chartered by Cannon Law to be an
Advisory Body to the Pastor. It represents the parish
community and provides advice on parish pastoral needs in
pastoral planning for the parish. The Pastoral Council meets
monthly to address the issues and plans of the parish
concerning the four major areas of Word, Worship, Community
and Service. Peter Stauder is currently the facilitator of

WORD –
Proclaims, explains, informs and forms parishioners of all
ages in the Scriptures and tradition of our church.
WORSHIP –
Gives expression to the sacramental and prayer life of
parishioners which includes Sunday Eucharist and other
ritual forms of sacred celebration.
COMMUNITY
– Draws parishioners together with Jesus Christ in mutual
support, activity and celebration marked by inclusiveness.
SERVICE –
Extends the resources of the parish to the needs of others
and demonstrates a commitment to works of compassion and
justice.
