PRAISE & PETITION TELEPHONE PRAYER LINE MINISTRY

If you can use a telephone, then you can serve on the praise and petition prayer line. This ministry provides a network of support for anyone who is in need of prayers or who wants to offer thanksgiving for prayers answered. The group also prays for those listed on the Parish Web Site as well as for our priests and for vocations. We also have an email prayer line. If you aren’t available to answer your phone daily, or if you haven’t joined us because you are a winter resident and away for a part of the year, you can be a part of this ministry as long as you can access your email every day. We urge you to add your voice to ours as we pray for the needs of those who seek our help. Prayer Requests: If you or a friend are in need of prayers, or if you want to give praise and thanks to God, please call one of the contact people listed above. Calls are taken seven days a week from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. You can also email your request to blessed.sacrament.prayerline@gmail.com. In just a short time, many people will be praying for you. You may also call the Parish Office and your request will be sent to the Prayer Line.

PRISON MINISTRY

The Prison Ministry goes to the Lake Correctional Facility in Clermont every Tuesday to minister to the inmates. Tuesday is known as “Catholic Tuesday” among the inmates. Bible Study, using the Great Adventure Time Line (Salvation History), is a weekly activity from 9:00am to 11:00am. A Eucharistic service is done on Tuesday between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm. Once a month a mass is celebrated at the prison by one of the priests in our parish. RCIA preparations are given to those who wish to receive the sacraments or want to become a Catholic. Spiritual guidance and counseling are also given. RELIGIOUS GIFT SHOP

The Blessed Sacrament Religious Gift Shop is located in the Narthex of our Church and is open before and after the 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm Saturday masses and the 8:00 am, 10:00 am & 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm masses on Sunday. We have a variety of Catholic devotional and gift items to choose from in addition to Bibles & prayer books both in English & Spanish. WOMEN’S MINISTRY OUTREACH (WMO)

Blessed Sacrament Women's Ministry Outreach (WMO) is a resource in our parish embracing all women. Our purpose is to support women in their Catholic Faith. Through this ministry, women have the opportunity to experience a community of loving, supportive and like-minded Catholic women growing in faith through the grace of God! Join the hundreds of women from our parish who are building a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.

Some of the many opportunities throughout the year include: Retreats, Bible Studies, Seminars, Conferences, Prayer Groups, Quarterly Pot Luck Luncheons featuring guest speakers and fellowship, Prayer Shawl Ministry, and our WMO Prayer Hotline.
