MINISTRY
OF WORSHIP gives expression to the sacramental and prayer life
of parishioners which includes Sunday Eucharist and other ritual
forms of sacred celebration.
ADORATION
When you look upon the Sacred Host, YOU LOOK UPON JESUS, THE SON
OF GOD, "Indeed this is the will of My Father, that everyone who
looks upon the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life.
Him, I will raise up on the last day." (John.6:40).
The schedule of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Day
Chapel is: Tuesdays from 9:00am to 8:00pm, and Thursdays from
9:00am to 5:00pm.
Jesus awaits us in the Blessed Sacrament. Let us not refuse the
time to go to meet Him in adoration. Let our adoration never
cease. Consider spending one hour a week, in the real presence
of Jesus, our Lord. Become an integral part of the ministry of
Eucharistic Adoration by calling Joan Rizza at (352)243-6765 or
email tooncinator2004@juno.com.

liturgical season, from times of festivity to times of
penitence, while maintaining a sense of dignity. For more

displayed. The ministry also provides visual enhancements for

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION

Minister's Schedule.
To be invited by the Pastor to be an Extraordinary Minister of
Holy Communion is a humbling honor and privilege. The Rite
identifies you as one who serves God’s Holy People. You profess
your own faith by sharing the Body and Blood of Christ as you
serve your brothers and sisters. Training is offered by our
Diocese every fall and early spring. You must have received the
Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation and be a Catholic

FUNERAL PLANNING: In the Order of
Christian Funerals, the church asks that the entire community,
priests and laity, be involved in ministering to the family of
the deceased.
Following the ancient traditions of mankind and the Catholic
community, the church asks us to celebrate the funeral of those
gone forth from us in a liturgy with their bodily remains
present. This is to show proper and appropriate respect for the
vessel indwelt by the Holy Spirit and used throughout their
journey of faith here on earth. This is, after all, the body
that will be raised up in glory at the Second Coming of our Lord
at the end of time. This funeral Liturgy usually takes place in
the church at the celebration of the Eucharist. Following this
celebration, the church recommends the respectful interment or
entombment of the body.
However, the church also recognizes the desire of some to use
cremation as the preferred method of disposition. In view of
this desire, the church recommends the cremation take place
AFTER the funeral Liturgy. Following the cremation, the cremains
should be buried or entombed.
If significant reasons to depart from these guidelines exist,
reasonable accommodations may be made. Any modified arrangements
should be discussed with a priest. If you have questions
regarding actual funeral arrangements or when planning such
arrangements before the need actually arises, please feel free
to call Paulette Lynch at the church office at (352)394-3562 (or
email plynch@blessedsacramentcc.com)

MASS REMEMBERANCES

for an individual and Weekend or Holy Day Masses can be
requested once every two months.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Memorial Mass Association is
celebrated each Wednesday at 5:15pm for the repose of the souls
of all its members for a one-year period. A donation of $20.00
is suggested and the individuals name will appear in our Day
Chapel amongst all others that are being prayed for. Enrollment

receive a memorial booklet to have as a keepsake or send to the
family of the deceased member. For more information call the
